Decorative chess set inspired by the medieval period, featuring patinated metal pieces representing knights, towers, horses, and crowned sovereigns. The set rests on a square chessboard inlaid with black and ivory in a geometric design, with a back finished in stained mahogany wood. The pieces exhibit a beautiful antique patina with natural oxidation stabilised by a varnish, enhancing the authentic and sculptural character of the whole. The king measures approximately 10.5 cm and the pawns 7 cm, providing a marked decorative presence on a coffee table, bookshelf, or desk. The chessboard measures approximately 39 X 39 cm.
