Large table lamp, designed by Svend Mejlstrøm for Mejlstrøm Lighting (MS)

Large table lamp, designed by Svend Mejlstrøm for Mejlstrøm Lighting (MS) Denmark, 1970s–1980s. It is made of brass-coloured metal and brass (the base is brass-coloured metal and the upper part of the ‘stem’ is solid brass). 44 cm high including the socket and 17.5 cm in diameter at the base. This is a heavy, high-quality lamp weighing approx. 2250 grams. The lampshade holder is included but has some scratches etc., though it is fully functional. Sold without a bulb (uses a standard E26/E27 bulb). Packed securely and sent with insurance.
