Beautiful scandinavian vintage teak dining table with 2 hidden extension cords of 29cm each by Svend Aage Madsen for Knudsen - Son, Denmark, 1960s. 6-8 places. The "butterfly" extension cords are stored inside under the table. Size: 115-144-173 x 115 x 72(h) cm. Apart from a few tiny traces of its 50 years of use, this table is in superb condition. There is a slight difference in color between the table and the extension cords, but normal for its age. We like the atypical shape of its solid teak tray with its curves and its pretty wood vein, with sculpted feet. A unique and very recognizable design. Madsen's creations embody modern Danish style: he favours warm woods such as teak and rosewood, organic silhouettes and minimalist decorative details. The publisher K. Knudsen-Son was also among the first Danish firms for the quality of its creations as well as for its designs in collaboration with many renowned designers.
