(1879 semarang, jawa barat - 1941 yogyakarta) Indonesian painter. Painted mainly indonesian landscapes. He is the adopted son of dr. Wahidin sudirohusodo, a prominent figure in the indonesian national movement and founder of boedi oetomo. The netherlands. Following in the footsteps of his adoptive father, abdullah entered the batavia medical school (now jakarta). He then continued his studies in the netherlands. There he turned to the art of painting and entered art school. Indonesia. Upon his return to indonesia after studying art in the netherlands, abdullah continued his career as a painter.  in particular, he participated in a graphic collaboration with the magazine bandera wollanda, the "dutch flag" in the colonizer's control. Abdullah is considered the first indonesian painter in the 20th century, in romantic style.
