Oak stepladder chair

Magnificent chair called escabelle or scabelle in solid oak period 19th century richly carved and molded. A decoration on the upper part of the backrest of a sculpted character which seems to come out of the wood. And on the bottom, we can observe flowers and leaves. The contours of the seat are also sculpted. Seat height 45 cm turned legs. Beautiful state of conservation.
