Antique linen cupboard bonnetière in French oak, 1800–1850

Antique French oak bonnetière dating from the first half of the 19th century. This narrow one-door wardrobe was traditionally used for storing linen and headwear. It features a molded cornice, paneled sides, and a full-height paneled door with a functional lock and key. The oak has a warm brown color, with visible grain and natural tone variations. Inside, three wooden shelves divide the wardrobe into four storage compartments. The back and lower compartment are lined with patterned paper. Ideal for storing linen, folded clothes, or dishes, its narrow proportions make it practical for rooms with limited floor space. The wardrobe is in very good antique condition, with slight signs of age and use. All our wooden furniture is treated preventively against woodworms.
