The large Scandinavian ceramic workshops of the 1960s produced some of the most sought-after pieces of Nordic design — and this lamp signed by Inger Persson for Rörstrand is a striking example. The base is made of natural stoneware and glazed in a deep turquoise blue, enhanced with decorative hand-incised stripes. This contrast between the raw earth and the glossy glaze is characteristic of Inger Persson's work. The lamp is signed on the reverse and retains its original electrical fitting. Sold with its bamboo and rattan slatted shade.
