Illum Wikkelsø „Capella“ Set of 1 Armchair and 2 Sofas – Niels Eilersen – 1960s

Exceptional Capella seating group by Illum Wikkelsø, designed in 1959 and manufactured by Niels Eilersen in Denmark. The group consists of two two-seaters and a matching single armchair, beautifully embodying the elegant design language of Scandinavian Mid-Century design. The characteristic wooden frames with their distinctive, slightly curved armrests have been professionally restored and refinished. This brings out the beautiful grain and warm color of the wood wonderfully again. The upholstery will be completely re-covered, so that the entire seating group will be presented in very good vintage condition upon completion. A rare and extremely stylish combination that stands out both as a generous seating group and individually.
