Turned wooden lamp base

This turned solid wood lamp stand will make a beautiful base to create your lamp by adding the wiring and a beautiful socket of your choice or a simple socket with a nice lampshade. It will probably require an adapter because the diameter of the threaded hollow rod that protrudes at the top seems to me relatively large for current sockets. It is in good general condition, no cracks, or large spots, but does not hide some signs of its age: some marks and scratches not very visible, 4 or 5 holes of beetles, which seem to me not active, but which I still treated by injection of white vinegar (it is my natural method to replace the chemical insecticide). Underneath, the felt cover that allowed to hide the hole is to be replaced, it has been torn off. This lamp stand is 25 cm high, and 10 cm larger in diameter. It weighs just over 900 g.
