Magnificent and spectacular set of light fixtures by Venini. Italy, 1970s. The chandelier features a chrome metal structure. Suspended are a series of beautiful striated Murano glass pendants, creating a dense and luminous volume. Topped with a chrome metal crown, covered with a perforated wooden plate. A meticulous finish, adding a touch of modernity and sophistication. The matching wall sconces echo the same design language. They diffuse a soft and warm light, slightly amber, which highlights the texture of the glass. The lighting, from warm amber to bright cold white, will depend on the intensity of the bulbs used. Here, several models are used to give you an idea. Chandelier: Height 85 cm. Diameter 30 cm. Sconces: Height 47 cm. Width 30 cm. Depth 20 cm. Rare set from this fabulous Italian manufacturer, in exceptional condition. Venini: Founded in 1921 under the name Cappellin Venini & C. By Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappelin, Venini is one of the oldest glass companies in Italy. After being divided and renamed Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Venini in 1925, it quickly became a recognised name in the production of artistic glass, reaching its golden age in the 1980s with significant collaborations with renowned artists, designers, and architects. Following the long tradition of Murano blown glass, Venini's approach to historical craftsmanship and originality has attracted many renowned designers who have helped make the brand one of the Italian authorities in the art of glass, such as Alessandro Mendini, Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, and Carlo Scarpa.
