Accolay Brown and green vase

Remember that the village of Accolay is located in Burgundy, near Auxerre. After the war, four young people studying ceramics with Alexandre Kostanda, and open a precarious workshop in this village. They begin with buttons and jewelry. And quickly launch a production of vases, pitchers, etc. They open stores in service along the N6 and N7 stations, holidays to the Mediterranean way. They are progressing quickly and the whole village will work for this workshop which will permanently close in early 1990s. This vase is typical of the production of Accolay. It is in perfect condition.
