Erik Andsersen Lounge Chair for Palle Pedersen, Denmark 1950

A beautiful lounge chair designed by danish designer erik andsersen, manufactured by palle pedersen in denmark around 1950. This wonderful piece has a very nice, organic shape that adds a sense of luxury to the design as well as an impressive seating comfort. Made of high quality teak wood in a warm brown colour, with woven rattan backrest and a newly upholstered cognac leather cushion. It’s the combination of materials together with the impressive finish of the chair, that gives it a warm and most inviting appeal. A fantastic find of mid-century scandinavian design! This elegant piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Only minor wear, no structural flaws or damages. Some small user marks to the rattan back rest as can be expected from a piece of this age, but nothing major and nothing affecting the use of the chair. Just an overall beautiful piece with a nice vintage patina!.
