Vintage barbotine pitcher Onnaing Marguerite Sunflowers

Magnificent jug in barbotine (majolica) authentic from the famous Faïencerie d'Onnaing (Northern France), dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. This is the model named "Marguerite" (numbered 1 under the base), decorated with superb relief sunflowers on a background imitating a brick wall. 🌈 Colours & Design: Very nice contrast between the emerald green exterior, the ochre of the flowers, and the bright fuchsia pink glazed interior, typical of the period. A very graphic piece. 🔍 Detailed Condition (Please read carefully and look at the photos): This piece has stood the test of time and shows signs of its age, which attests to its authenticity. • Craquelure: Presence of fine glaze cracks throughout the jug. • Chips: A few small glaze skips on the edges (neck, base, handle). • Notable defect: A small hairline crack (superficial fissure) is visible on the body of the jug. It does not affect the overall sturdiness of the piece but should be taken into account.
