This beautifully shaped art deco dining chair, designed by j.a. Muntendam for l.o.v. Oosterbeek in the 1920s, is a refined example of dutch craftsmanship. Made from solid oak, the chair has been polished to enhance its timeless appeal. Marked for authenticity, the seat has been renewed and reupholstered in elegant black rib fabric, offering both comfort and style. A striking piece that embodies the sophistication of early 20th-century dutch design. Lov oosterbeek. In 1910, gerrit pelt founded the n.v. Oosterbeeksche furniture factory “labor omnia vincit”. The factory aimed to make functional and durable handcrafted furniture to elevate the working class. The company provided for worker participation and numerous social provisions for the employees.
