Pair of Gian Franco Legler “Basket” chairs

Set of 2 chairs, Basket model designed in 1950, by Gian Franco Legler, Italian-Swiss designer, published by Pierantonio Bonacina in Italy. They are made up of a honey-colored rattan seat and a black metal base. The legs are covered with plastic to increase their resistance, which also allows outdoor use. These chairs won the GDA du Moma in 1953. They are in their “vintage” juice. Defects to note on one of the two chairs.
