Old table presentation phasaianus versicolor- japanese pheasants

Old painting phasaianus versicolor- japanese pheasants. Reproduction on cardboard 16x23cm. Oak wood frame with wide golden flange, dimensions 31x24 cm thickness 3cm. Defect: when looking closely, we notice a clearance on part of the cardboard of the paint (top and bottom photo attached). The defect would eventually be simple to solve by removing the (old) paper that covers the bottom to be able to reinforce the stapling from the inside. If I do not do it myself it is in order to preserve all the authenticity and cachet of the object dating from after the war. To keep in its juice, or to restore it is a choice...
