Vintage minimalist west germany vase by scheurich, 1950s, numbered 532-28 at the bottom. This mid-century modern vase is matt glazed and the abstract drawing is glossy glazed, at the top and bottom it has horizontal brown lines on a beige background. West germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are roth, carstens, ruscha, jopeko, jasba, fohr, but the largest were perhaps scheurich and bay.
