Adorable small side table from the Napoléon III period, made of mahogany veneer and mahogany. One immediately notices the beautiful curved door with its incredible blown glass: it is indeed from the period, and one cannot be mistaken as the ripples that define its identity are visible when viewed slightly from the side. This gives it a charming appeal, just like its full and generous curves, its discreetly carved decorations on the uprights, and its lovely thick plinth. The key and lock are original and work perfectly, both for the door and the drawer in the apron. The latter, with its wooden keyhole, slides well and offers a nice storage space. Below, two adjustable shelves in veneered mahogany, with a wavy design, can be adjusted in height thanks to their rack. There are some signs of use, including a fine filled crack on the top (see photo), and a few rare tiny veneer losses here and there that have been filled, including on the back of the furniture inside, towards the back (invisible and without incident). In short, a beautiful piece of furniture, both discreet and full of personality, ideal for a cozy living room or a lovely entrance. H: 92 cm. W: 73 cm. D: 36 cm. Depth of a shelf (in the centre): 29 cm. My prices are firm, thank you. Delivery in the Île-de-France area to your doorstep is possible for 40 euros.
