Danish vintage extra large bookcase with bar cabinet in teak attr. to Feldballes Møbelfabrik, 1960s

A sizeable danish teak vintage bookcase was crafted during the 1960s, most likely by feldballes møbelfabrik. Comprising two distinct sections, this ensemble offers ample storage options, featuring a spacious sideboard with three sliding doors, two cabinets, and shelves. The upper unit with bookshelves and sliding-door cabinet will expose lots of books and decorations, and a functional bar cabinet, which can also become a secretaire desk when the home office is required, provides the various possibilities as exactly needed. A lower unit is a large sideboard with an inside long shelf and four drawers. Placed against a plain wall, this vintage-style wall unit will enhance any living room with a mid-century scandinavian design, constituting a decoration itself. The bookcase has been checked by our team. We have examined if the doors and drawers work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are badly scratched). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Overall, original vintage condition with minor traces of use.
