Model: Cité de Jean Prouvé. Base: Folded steel sheet, smooth Japanese red epoxy finish. Upholstery: Seat and back upholstered in canary yellow Hola fabric and height-adjustable headrest cushion in canary yellow polyurethane foam. Felt glides for hard floors. Very nice example of the Cité de Jean Prouvé armchair produced by Tecta in the 80s, reissued by Vitra. Prouvé himself used this comfortable and generous armchair in his living room, with its powder-coated steel glides and armrests formed by leather straps.
