Set of 6+1 Mies van der Rohe Brno black Bauhaus chairs

A set of six (+1) Brno chairs in black leather. Unknown edition. They are suitable as conference chairs in the office, in the waiting room or as dining room chairs. The Brno chairs were designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the Villa Tugendhat. The first Brno chairs did not have a manufacturer's mark engraved on the frame – these 6 chairs offered here also do not bear a manufacturer's mark. It cannot be said whether they were produced by Knoll. The weight – approx. 21 kg per chair – says it all. They remained for years in a Munich publishing house. The dimensions are approx. 76 X 57.5 X 59 cm (hxwxd) – seat height: approx. 45.5 cm. A seventh chair is available free of charge on top – the back of this one is slightly defective (see photos). Condition: see photos, used, vintage condition, some scratches on the leather, some chipped chrome.
