This small vase lamp was made from an original handle vase by Bay Keramik. The vase features both the original Bay sticker and the base marking, and impresses with its warm red glaze with fine depth. It is a beautiful example of the high-quality West German pottery from the 1960s/70s. The cylindrical lampshade is covered with a Japanese cotton fabric that displays a stylised, graphic water lily motif. The pattern appears modern yet timeless, creating an exciting contrast to the organic shape of the vase. This results in a small, expressive accent lamp, ideal for atmospheric room arrangements on sideboards, shelves, or bedside tables. The vase has been carefully converted into a lamp without drilling.
