Chair model Bauche by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1960

Salon chair, model Bauche no. 19, designed by Charlotte Perriand and published by Steph Simon in the 1950s. This model illustrates Perriand's vision of harmony between modernism and nature. Its structure, made entirely of ash, consists of four round legs connected by stretchers, supporting a seat and backrest made of woven straw. Edition: Steph Simon, circa 1950.
