Exceptional French Hollywood Regency Brass Floor Lamp

A highly distinctive French Hollywood Regency floor lamp dating from the 1970s, featuring an exceptionally refined brass structure with sculptural botanical detailing. The lamp is characterised by its elegant square stepped base and finely worked brass stem, decorated with delicate leaf and floral motifs. A particularly striking central ornament takes the form of a stylised pineapple surrounded by curved foliage, echoed by a second botanical element above. The combination of polished brass, sculptural botanical forms and strong geometric lines gives the lamp a sophisticated and unmistakably French decorative character. The design is strongly reminiscent of the celebrated botanical lighting created by Maison Charles during the 1960s and 1970s. The lamp is completed by a generous square textile shade in a rich burgundy tone with a warm gold-coloured interior, creating a particularly elegant contrast with the brass structure. The shade is attached to the upper stem with a decorative brass finial. With its impressive height of 166 cm, sculptural detailing and sophisticated combination of brass and burgundy, this is an exceptionally decorative statement lamp, equally suited to an elegant residential interior, boutique hotel, gallery or sophisticated contemporary setting. The lamp is in good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use to the brass and shade, consistent with its age and visible in the photographs. Designer Unknown.
