Vintage Finnish Glass Vase by Erkki Vesanto, Signed, Rare Collectible Decorative

This vintage Finnish glass vase is a rare collectible designed by Erkki Vesanto for Iittala. While Murano glass is widely known, Finnish glass represents an equally refined niche of blown and moulded art. This specific piece features a "Sommerso" technique with grey and clear glass, characterized by a thick base and very fine construction. The designer's signature is clearly legible on the base. The vase is extremely well preserved and serves as a wonderful decorative touch for any interior, whether placed on a coffee table, console, or bookshelf. It shows wear consistent with age and use, including minor fading, but remains in good condition. Originating from Finland in the 1970s, it is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern glasswork.
