Eames Soft pad EA106 chair, Herman Miller edition 1970

Seat designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in the 1960s, this rare version was produced from 1966 to 1973 for Herman Miller. From the aluminum group series, beautiful polished cast aluminum structure, ultra-resistant taut chocolate (dark) hopsak coating. It is a height-adjustable, swivel model, mounted on 4 pretty, extremely rare “ball” castors. (prettier than the recent ones) Distributed by furniture international (sticker present), this old version has the Herman Miller label. Exceptional manufacturing quality, contrast of metal and dark textile, great class. Very good condition, the aluminum has been repolished, the coating shampooed (machine), not a rip, not a seam undone...etc. A little play in the central screw possibly to be noted. Height: 88 cm.
