Large glass vase in Czech, lily flower model by Rudolfova Hut.

Period: c. 1930s. A large cut glass (or semi-crystal) vase with a pale green overlay. Four lily motifs have been cut into green backgrounds, along with other patterns. The rim is irregular. The glass is heavy and of good quality. This vase is known as the 'lily' from the Sigurd range manufactured by the Czech factory Rudolfova Hut; it appears in the 1928 catalog and other subsequent catalogs from the 1930s. This factory was founded in 1905 by the famous glassmaker Josef Inwald. Rudolfova Hut became part of the Sklo Union group in 1965 and was the largest glass producer in Czechoslovakia. Condition: generally very good. Some micro-chips on the edge of the base. Dimensions: 26.5 cm high, 8 cm diameter at the top.
