Large Czech Glass Vase Fleur De Lys Pattern By Rudolfova Hut

Period: ca. 1930s a large cut glass (or semi-crystal) vase with a pale green overlay. Four fleur de lys motifs have been cut into green backgrounds, as well as other motifs. The rim is irregular. The glass is heavy and of good quality. This vase is known as the 'fleur de lys' from the sigurd range made by the czech factory rudolfova hut and is listed in the 1928 and other later catalogues from the 1930s. This factory was founded in 1905 by the famous glassmaker josef inwald. Rudolfova hut became part of the sklo union group in 1965 and was the largest glass producer in czechoslovakia. Condition: generally very good. Some micro-chips to the rim of the base. Dimensions: 26.5 cm high, 8 cm diameter top.
