Pair of ceramic vases with marine decoration with handles, stamped monte carlo céramica and numbered 249 bis (expo), from the 1950s. The principality of monaco has been known since the late nineteenth century for its potters. Art that develops in particular, after the 2nd world war with the emergence of workshops like céramica, azuréart, monacéram, etc. The marine decoration present on these two vases (less frequent than the floral decorations prized at the time) with its fish and algae is bright in color and evokes the joie de vivre of the post-war years. Two very beautiful rooms, in excellent condition. Dimensions of each vase: h 21 cm, l 18 cm, low diameter 9, middle diameter 12 cm.
