Pair of Empire style palmette sconces - Hettier & Vincent

Superb pair of large empire style wall lights. Manufacture second half of the twentieth. Bronze fabrication. Original gilding and patina in perfect condition. Green patina, very good condition; note, a small touch up of varnish (see last photo). The arms of light are richly decorated with acanthus leaves, windings, laurels and flowers. The central part is decorated with openwork palmettes. They are stamped on the back: vh, for hettier & vincent (see photo). Electricity installed and tested, new wires. Cardboard candles, new.
