These chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen possess the typical quality of good Danish design: they seem simple at first glance, but the more you observe them, the more you discover proportions, details, and design solutions that have been carefully considered. The structure is lightweight, well-balanced, and built around an idea of everyday comfort that remains immediately perceptible today. Teak makes up the structure with clean profiles and continuous surfaces, while the new upholstery alters the overall character of the seats in a very natural way. The warm white upholstery (soft, bright, and away from cold or overly optical tones) creates a delicate contrast with the wood, visually lightening the whole and making the set particularly easy to integrate even into contemporary interiors. The chairs have been reupholstered. Overall, they are in excellent vintage condition with slight signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece.
