For sale: Louis-Philippe style writing desk with drop-down front, in very good overall condition, ideal for an elegant office corner or storage. Highlights: This piece of furniture has two small secret compartments inside, hidden on the sides, which operate via a spring mechanism and trigger. Very original and rare! Storage: A large drawer at the top (cornice), several interior drawers, and three large drawers at the bottom. Condition: Very nice exterior appearance. Note: The latch of the drop-down front's lock needs to be revised/changed (currently held closed by a discreet wire around the key). The rest functions perfectly.
