Vintage transparent glass candle holder in the shape of a calla lily – 1960s/70s. Charming vintage candle holder in transparent glass, with organic lines reminiscent of a delicately blossomed calla lily. The bowl opens in softly undulating petals, with subtle folds and an asymmetrical edge that give the object a beautiful sculptural dimension. The thick, slightly conical base contrasts elegantly with the visual lightness of the corolla. Under the base, a carefully crafted and polished pontil mark attests to the attentive finishing of the glass. Presented with a small LED candle, the candle holder diffuses lovely light patterns through the transparent glass. It can also be displayed alone as a small decorative object. A piece full of charm, in the spirit of mid-20th century organic design.
