Pair of 13-light OTOKO ISHII chandeliers

Extraordinary pair of chrome chandeliers 1970 designed by motoko ishii and produced by staff leuchten of germany and distributed by lightolier on the american market. This chandelier is equipped with 13 bulbs and globes, the structure is in chromed metal. Motoko ishii is a japanese female lighting designer. From 1965 to 1967 she worked in lighting design offices in finland and germany. Returning to japan in 1968 she established the motoko ishii design office. One of her major projects was the lighting design for the 1975 world exposition in okinawa. We have a pair of chandeliers.
