Maxi Nyhavn suspension Danish mid-century by Alfred Homann and Ole v. Kjær for Louis Poulsen

Vintage design. Nyhavn pendant by the Danish manufacturer Poulsen, designed by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær in the 1970s. Here in the rare maxi version. This large version of the classic Nyhavn impresses with its substantial size, featuring a diameter of almost 60 cm. The flat shade ensures a particularly wide diffusion of light downwards. The body of the lamp tapers upwards in a dome shape. In between, it is divided into anti-glare rings connected by crossbars. The heavy fixture is suspended from a metal wire cable. The power cable is looped with a reinforcement. The metal cord measures approximately 380 cm in length. Thus, this pendant is perfect for very high rooms.
