Black patinated glass bookcase

19th century double-glazed bookcase. Materials: mahogany. Features: the upper part of this glass-fronted bookcase is composed of three glass-fronted cupboards: two with one door and one with two doors. They each have three height-adjustable shelves. The lower part of the glass-fronted bookcase is also composed of three closed cupboards: two with one door and one with two doors. They each have one shelf, not adjustable in height. The locks are all functional and have been greased. Two keys are provided. The glass-fronted bookcase is partially disassembled into four parts: the lower part, the three glass-fronted cupboards in the upper part, and the cornice. Renovation: this glass-fronted bookcase was completely sanded (exterior and interior) to remove its glossy varnish. It then underwent extensive work to patinate it in black. Finally, it was waxed. Condition: the glass-fronted bookcase is in superb condition. Two small veneer losses are noted on the right door of the upper part. They are almost invisible with the patina.
