Mountain bonnetière in fir Beautiful Louis Philippe bonnetière in solid fir, of mountain tradition, featuring a simple and robust construction characteristic of Alpine rural furniture. The façade is enlivened by an elegant moulded frame and a slightly overhanging cornice, highlighting the solid door. The door, mounted on old hinges, opens to reveal an interior fitted with a shelf and a hanging rail. The sides showcase a beautiful construction with grains, knots, and natural irregularities that testify to the authenticity of the piece and its historical use. The whole rests on four slightly flared straight legs, extended by a moulded lower crossbar. The warm patina, with honey and golden blonde tones, is particularly harmonious and accentuates the grain of the fir. A typical storage piece of mountain furniture, both decorative and functional. Period: 19th century, Mid-century Origin: mountain furniture, probably Alpine Wood type: fir Patina: old, honey / golden blonde Dimensions: H 189 cm W 97 cm D 39 cm
