Superb hand-thrown stoneware bowl, beautifully balancing rusticity and finesse. Its shades of beige, honey, and tobacco brown create a natural gradient, enhanced with slightly flamed highlights. The interior features a delicate crackle, evidence of mastered firing, while the base bears a raised stamp—a square decorated with concentric circles—typical of French workshops of the 1970s and 1980s. Inspired by traditional Japanese ceramics, this bowl embodies the imperfect beauty of the artisanal craft. A unique piece, with a soothing charm and a satiny feel, perfect as a tea bowl, salt jar, or small tray. Very good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Diameter 11 cm, height 7.5 cm. A Japanese aesthetic revisited in the French style: a simple shape, a vibrant glaze, and a meditative presence in the material.
