Hand-embroidered cushion

Otomí Cushion - Hand-embroidered in cotton - 40x30cm. We are a Franco-Mexican project that creates decorative objects for the home, blending contemporary style with traditional techniques, the result of valuable collaborations with our artisan partners. The "tenangos" are a means of expressing an allegorical vision of the world that transforms a simple fabric into one of the most representative traditions of Mexico. Otomi-Tepehua women create these embroidered fabrics depicting the animal and plant kingdoms of their daily lives, working together to meet their household's economic needs while contributing to the preservation of regional culture.
