Pair of Italian bedsides, Art deco 50s

Pair of italian bedsides art deco 50s. The bedsides are in excellent condition with very slight marks and traces of use on trays, structures and footings (see photos). Fantastic time patina. They are made of wood with an italian walnut veneer (the veneer was reserved for luxurious or high-end furniture by cabinetmakers in contrast to standard furniture that was in solid) with a superb warm and cozy color. The bedside is high, with a superb design that is reminiscent of some early works by gio ponti. Their designs are sober and elegant with angular ends on each side of the trays. The bedside has a functional drawer with a milked button and storage. The side panels have a latte design that give a lot of elegance and lightness to the piece. Very long legs, both fronts are tapered. The pieces have been delicately cleaned to preserve their integrity. Drawer size: 32 X 17.
