Daybed Auping Cleopatra by Dick Cordemeijer

A cleopatra daybed in good condition with a matte gray steel frame and teak panels at the foot and head ends. The steel frame shows slight signs of wear, as do the teak panels. The steel springs of the bed are flawless and show the auping logo. The foam pad was renewed some time ago and covered with an attractive yellow/white cotton fabric, which can be quickly changed with a zipper. The fabric has been cleaned and shows minimal signs of wear. Ar cordemeijer designed this day bed in 1953 for the dutch manufacturer auping and created a light, timeless and variable piece of furniture that met the taste of the time and still has a large following today.
