Max Ingrand's "dahlia" chandelier for Fontana Artee made in the 50s. Superb vintage and rare piece that will easily find its place in a modern or classic decoration. This chandelier is composed of 8 metal and brass arms topped with smoked glass petals. The glass petals are handcrafted from Murano glass. This chandelier has minimal traces of use but is in very good condition given the decades crossed. Electricity verified, works with 8 E14 bulbs. Dimensions: Height 50cm / 93cm diameter. Max Ingrand is one of the most famous French master glassmakers and decorators of the post-war period, along with Pierre Lardin and Robert Pansart. He studied interior design at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He specializes in decorative arts with decorator and glassmaker Jacques Gruber and architect Charles Lemaresquier. Max Ingrand was artistic director of Fontana Arte for 10 years from 1954, vice-president of the Society of Decorative Artists, vice-president of the Union of Glassmakers and Crystals of France and president of the Alumni of the National Graduate School of Decorative Arts. 📦 Careful Sending.
