Space Age Serpente floor lamp by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce, 1970s.

Vintage design. The famous Serpente floor lamp by Martinelli Luce, based on a design by Elio Martinelli from the 1960s, in a very rare orange version. A heavy floor lamp that appears extremely elegant and dynamic with a curved arm. It features a swivelling lampshade that can rotate on its axis. The heavy base supports the cantilevered arm for adjustable positioning and lighting effects, with a rubberised underside to protect the floor. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina. The lampshade is new.
