African basket

Vintage african basket/ basket, dating back a few decades. Hand-woven with reed, it has graphic and ethnic motifs visible inside, but the wear and tear of time has almost wiped out the exterior motifs. The tip of the lid and the turn of the basket have a red/burgundy coating that mimics the leather.
