J.T. Kalmar Teak Dornstab table lamp Austria 1947

Exceptional and rare table lamp designed by j.t. Kalmar for kalmar werkstatten, austria 1947. This is an early example of this very collectable table lamp. The shades height can be changed using the brass hooks at the back of the arm. This lamp is fully original with the original shade where you see a lot of lamps with new made shades. The shade has some minor losses and a few loose stitches but hardly visible. The lamp is in perfect working condition as is fitted for a general e27 lightbulb. The teak is in great condition and the brass has patinated wonderfully over time.
