“Elbow” lamp in articulated metal by E. Bellini for Targetti Sankey, Ital

An iconic mid-century desk lamp, designed by E. Bellini for Italian manufacturer Targetti Sankey in the 1970s. The Elbow lamp was awarded an iF Design Award in 1975, highlighting its importance in the history of industrial design. It is made of chrome-plated metal and a black plastic articulated tube, characteristic of the Space Age aesthetic. A fine example of functional and sculptural design.
