Beni Ouarain rug, Berber, Original hand-knotted, 100% wool

The 100% wool rug is hand-knotted in the Atlas of Morocco in BeniOuarain! It is a beautiful old piece that I found there in the early 2000s. The finish and knots are in very beautiful wool (100% beautiful Wool!!!) The wool is soft and silky (unlike recent creations!!) the measurements: 150cm X 270cm. The "turned thread and pompom" finish is on one side only in the width. I am parting with it because I am going on a trip for 3 years! Notice to lovers of old textiles of beautiful manufacture!.
