Vega ceiling light designed by Roberto Volonterio and Cesare Benedetti for Quattrifolio in the 1980s. Composed of three elliptical frosted glass plates, sandblasted on one side to add texture to the fixture. The plates frame two tubular Pyrex diffusers that allow light to spread across the side areas. The gilded metal structure reveals the fixing system, a deliberate construction approach that gives a floating effect to the ceiling light. The light diffuses through the translucent surfaces with remarkable softness, in a spirit of Art Deco reinterpreted by Italian postmodernism. Restored and re-electrified in our workshop.
