Antique wooden and cane deck chair.

Antique deck lounge chair probably dating from the early 20th century, evoking the elegance of grand transatlantic liners from the Edwardian era. Designed in curved brown-stained wood with flowing lines, it features a backrest and seat upholstered with open cane, as well as a footrest extending its ergonomic silhouette. This piece, marked by maritime charm, will gracefully fit into a light-filled living room, a veranda, or a curiosity cabinet. Condition: Overall structure is sound, stable, and functional, allowing for daily or decorative use. The wood's patina shows some wear, superficial scratches, and slight color alterations consistent with its age, while the cane remains well-maintained despite a small localized defect. These authentic signs of time testify to its history without detracting from its overall appearance or sturdiness.
