The publisher Charles Minvielle ordered this type of furniture from the trio of young designer friends Pierre Guariche, Joseph-André Motte and Michel Mortier who had founded the ARP (plastic research workshop) in 1954 and whose collaboration would shake up the codes of classicism by offering major pieces of the 20th century, with quality materials for geometric designs in a modernist style. In very good shape.
